The original dash was but-ugly. Created with fake carbon-fiber stick-on sheet. There are a bunch of other things I'll change long-term: for the next year or so, I'll just drive it as is. But this was one thing I couldn't stand.

I also own something with an even simpler steering & dash setup.

It is a Toronado Mickey, but they didn't begin building them until 66. First mass produced front wheel drive American car in over thirty years when it came out.

Well, I was close!

Very.

I was wonderin' when someone was going to post a Citroen wheel. VERY disctinctive!

1967 Citroen DS21 cabriolet

Funny you should mention. Last night was talking to Abarth69 and he pointed me to a gathering of the local Citroen Club (look for a fuller report in Other Cars) Very friendly people and very willing to share their hobby. The owner of this Cabriolet let me sit in it - brought back a flood of memories from my DS

From Simca to Citroen, there's NO French car I've ever encountered I'd want to own.

...and if any o' youse-guys say: "Matra" I'll puke on yer keyboard. :jester:

Doc, Bugatti Type 35 or an Atlantic?

I think the Talbot-Lagos are the most beautiful cars ever made. Love the look on the lady on the left ... jaw dropping beauty.

The lady on the right ain't bad, either...

...OH - you meant the CAR!
