I got a set of these in the box o stuff from my Midget's PO.
Mine say "MID" on one side of the logo and "GET" on the other.

Do you just glue them in place?

I'm guessing here but they would be oriented for reading correctly outside the car?

i dont see why you couldnt glue them Rick, or a couple of nice trim screws... i would think be able to read them from outside the car.

3m double sided tape (they have it for automotive) would work well I'd think.

That 3m tape is used on modern cars to hold the trim on. Should work just fine and is cheep enough.

Yup, easy to work with, easy enough to remove when needed, but man does that stuff stick! I've used it on my prix several times. Heck, if it can hold a hood scoop on a car at 90 mph+, it'll hold door sills on securely /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Have you measured them to see if they'll fit in your Midget's door opening?

Ahhh, hack saw, Z sawl, cut off wheel, tin snips. Must be other options as well.

I'll just pull them out of the box & lay them in there to see how they fit.

Thanks, next time I'm at the auto parts store I'll check on the 3M tape. Seems I'm there a few times a week these days.

Just an FYI with the 3M tape....if you ever want to remove them, get some fairly sturdy fishing line and thread it behind the plate (or emblem or whatever). Use a sawing motion and pull it though the tape. WD-40 is great at removing the adhesive without being abrasive (you'll want to wax afterward though). Again, used this method to completely de-badge my daily drive Grand Prix.

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/iagree.gif Though I would recommend 3M Adhesive Remover for just about all adhesive residues...Great stuff!!

Great - thanks guys!

I just went out and looked through the box again in the light of day.

I have:
New window seals, inner & outer for both sides!

New door seals

New shifter knob, although it's pattern doesn't fit my tranny.
It has reverse over & up while mine has revers being over & down. Darn - that's one of the things on my list to buy, thought I had scored bigtime. Still that's better than the skull head shifter knob on there now.

Some 90 degree angle trim pieces in a bag, each is about 2 inches - there are other items in the bag as well. Needs further study.

Oh, the threshold strips fit exactly.
