Only a bit of messing yesterday and prob the same today. Can't do much at this point till I get a few spairs and a part or two from Tony.

Miss Agatha is so close but yet so far and I keep finding these things that need improved or changed or rebuilt.

Well one day it will all come together.

Think I will go talk to her and just let her know that she is loved today.

the final bits! after reading your posts over the last couple months, i am trying to forsee some of those "bits" so i can minimize my down time. as much as i would be tempted to drive, i would want to finish as much as possible before that first time.
.
miss agatha knows she loved!

That is a Moss interior.

Bonnet goes on when generator goes on and is checked out.

Yep, just need to get some neighbors together to lend a hand. Even ran a bolt in the hinge nuts on the bonnet today, that's how close that is.

Lacking anything else I installed the heater blower today.

Still need to fabracate something to attach the cable to the flapper assy.

Also installed the hood latch. Waiting on a couple of rubber rings for the headlights and will install all the rest when the parts get here, all three items, sigh.

Shouldn't the headlights/buckets wait until after the bonnet assembly (just to make handling and alignment easier)?

I have decided that now is the time to put the bonnet on, neighbours willing and available this afternoon.

This is just takeing toooooo long, I need progress.

I'm ready, Miss Agatha is ready and the heck with the conservatives. hehe.

Go for it Jack. The weather for driving Miss Agatha is here, and as you say you are both ready. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

Woohoo! She'll look like a real Bugeye with the bonnet back in place. Working under it isn't too bad (as I'm sure you remember), just watch your head!

All is in readyness now. Padding taped in place, bolts selected, and wrenchs layed out.

Now all I need is a couple of guys to hold it for a bit.

Good luck, hope to see a smiling Ms Agatha soon!

I just got a message that he received the bonnet handle I sent him sooo that excuse is gone.

Bonnet is on. Had to wait for neighbors to get home from work. Took maybe 15 min. Adjustment is good for and aft but is not going down all the way. Seems to be hitting on something. Will play tonite some and tomorrow for sure. Pics at that point.

Pat, where were you waited all afternoon. hehe.
