Sox beat the Angels, Yanks beat Cleveland in the best of 5 series, and here we go again, Yankees - Red Sox for the American League Championship. What could be finer for a Yankee or Sox fan! Prediction, Boston over Anaheim in five, Yanks over Cleveland in four, Yanks over Boston in six.

I think the Yankees Red Sox should be a third banned category after Religion and Politics. Always a great series to watch... esp when the Yankees lose, second best is when the Sox win. I would like to see the Angles win

I really feel bad for Mets fans. Willie was doing an "amazin" job until about a month ago and phiily is capitalizing.

I don't know what's up with the Mets, it's like it has gotten into their minds or something. But they're running out of time to figure it out. I feel bad for Willie.

Well, I'm a Met fan, and it ain't fun watchin' them go down in flames. They ain't out yet, but even if they get in, this is not the time of year to be losing games in wholesale amounts.

As far as Willie goes, he can't be blamed for this latest downturn. He ain't playing out in the field, and I'm sure he hasn't changed his style of managing.

This could evolve into the shot heard 'round the world back in 1951 when the Dodgers were way ahead in the pennant race a month before the end of the season, and then collapsed. That lead to the playoff game with the Giants.

By the way, I was a Dodger fan back then. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/sick.gif
