There was once a young man who, in his youth, professed a desire to become a "great" writer.

When asked to define "great" he said "I want to write stuff that the whole world will read, stuff that people will react to on a truly emotional level. Stuff that will make them scream, cry, wail, howl in pain, desperation, and anger!"

Bartender says: "Ah, I see th' entire British Car Club is finally out on th' same day."

I've had more errors in the past week from one Mac than I've had all year from all my PCs combined. 'Nuff said!

Based on the Apple software I've had the displeasure to use, and my iPod - I would never buy one of their computers.

I wouldn't have bought the Mac if I didn't need it for a specific purpose. It isn't a "bad" machine but certainly not what all the hype claims it to be. People who own them are like cult followers and I've never understood why.

Same here but I have a theory: They're right lobe dominants, been CONVINCED they don't need to take responsibility for the equipment... just to know which pretty-shiny thingie on the screen makes it DO stuff.

The only reason I could think you'd need a Mac is Final Cut Pro.

Sort of like MG owners... :jester:

Have to admit, that was a perfect set up Steve! :hammer:

Touche, senior swift!

Greg, it was for a high-end audio reproduction project. I could have accomplished the same result in my project with a Windows box, and actually did go that route first, but it required a lot of third party drivers and tweaks that I found less stable than I was willing to risk. Now that Windows 7 is out, I would probably go that route for this particular purpose instead of the Mac.
