For those of us who remember - and those who don't:

You gotta love the "rocketship" 50's styling, but I don't remember push button transmissions, and what the heck are 'full contact brakes'?

They were the next big thing after "partial contact" brakes ;)

Chrysler was perhaps the most well-known,

but Edsel had a very cool idea:

The push button transmissions are very cool looking. I have never seen one of the models that had them, but I will look more carefully at the next car show I attend.

And I think I prefer "contact-only-when-I-step-on-the-brake-pedal" brakes.

That was fun! Thanks.
Loved the music, the narration, the examples... the pilots getting out of their cars and into fighter jets. LOL
An innocent time. Simple stuff (even to the point of comparing themselves to "other" makes but not naming them).

My grandparents had an Edsel Bermuda Wagon. My Grandmother told me it was the nicest car she ever had. I'd love to have one.
