Can someone give me a quick answer on where the Chassis ID for a BE is to be found? I thought is was inside the engine compartment on one of the inner fenders is it not?

Anyone on line right now who can give a quick answer.

It is on the angled rail the is right below the carbs.

In that location you should see a plate screwed to the rail.

Thanks guys. Now if a Lost title can be resolved...and $ fit the budget...

Ah, the surest sign of spring -- folks out looking for a new project.

Hope it all works out for you. Bugeyes are such good fun.

LOL, and with the screwed on vin plate you can take it in and show it to the nice lady when you apply for tags.

I tried that - no good - had to bring the whole car with plates attached. However, I did bring the VIN to a couple of shows and a club meeting or two.
