I have had many requests for foto of the undefeated V8 bugeye it has the CHP style ford 5.0 high output EFI with a 4 speed a/t and a 240z rear IRS the engine is so far back i had to cut a coil off the bugeye front springs and it doesn't have a drive shaft ! it uses normal 240z tires and doesn't burn rubber. it is no longer socially acceptable to "burn tires" in coastal California i have tried many times to upload pix's with no success my personal pictures are at webshots.com under junk yard jim or user name jyjimv8 or the link below. enjoy ,many a Cobra has taken the walk of shame.

That looks like quite a bit of work.

I can't see how much is actually a Bugeye, other than the bonnet and rear. Did you do a complete custom chassis? Or a rebuilding / extension of the original front part? You mention cutting front springs, but the picture shows Coil-over-shocks on an overhead rocker setup. Very nicely done.

Bonnet looks wider and longer. Doors are custom. B-post looks custom and blended nicely into the rear Bugeye paneling.
I guess there isn't much trunk room!

How about some more - detailed pictures.

Ok, its not really a Bugeye. But then i think we should claim it as it is so cool.

i only have pictures of the one of my V8 bugeye, white with a V8 emblem. it has a stock front end with one coil cut off to get the car down. the back of the heads were even with the firewall so the front came up instead of going down it is 1900 lbs
the red car has a stock grill. everything thing else is from the junk pile if you coming by bring you work clothes. the front suspension is 2ed gen RX7 with supra upper A arms vw rabbit rack flipped over that makes RHD the engine is a VG30 Nissan V6 from a 87 300ZX with a rabbit cooling system the IRS is narrowed 92 300ZX. front and rear suspension are aluminum with a few stamped steel arms 15X8 wheels, 3 1/2" ground clearance. i don't think i can finish it. i have 20+ cars i'm getting to old. junk Yard JIM .....that cove in baja is calling. me think of it this way, when you were 11 you wanted a BB gun so bad. how many do you have now?
