Ah, back in the days when C&D didn't get too disturbed by facts! :laugh:

So many big and little errors in that article, it's basically not worth addressing! (But I will just point out that Standard developed the wet-liner engine that went into the Vanguard and, very soon thereafter, into a version of the Ferguson tractor. Ferguson didn't develop the engine!)
