The spridget long trip emergency tool kit

I have four of them, but the one that I prefer is the Jumper 1000, its medium size but it still takes up the same amount of space that jumper cables would. They are very reliable and much faster and nicer than getting out cables. Especially if it is someone else who needs a jump, you don't have to use your car.

How much do they cost? I throught about using a lawn and garden tractor battery for the same kinda thing. I bought this float charger from harbor freight that does good on my motorcycle battery and thought it might do for one of these. I am always coming up with ideas for junk to build. I drew me up some plans to make an altenator run off of a 2 cycle weedeater motor. I thought I could use something like this to charge a low battery to get a car to start and it would be light and portable and could be used over and over without the need to recharge it.
