The spouse surprised me for Christmas!

Offline
Jean outdid herself this year....and left me speechless.

Yes, she got the Tourist Trophy steering wheel that I wanted for the 1972 MGB....but wait.....there's more!

She gave me a certificate for a 30 minute aerobatic flight in a 1943 SNJ-5 warbird. Loops, barrel rolls, stalls, and dives....the whole she-bang (as long as my stomach holds up!)

What a girl!

Woot!

I'll probably schedule the flight for this spring....the plane is based in Springfield, IL and will fly out of Logan County Airport in Lincoln, IL (my home town).

What surprises did you receive?

That is so COOL! Congrats on training her right :jester:

I'd give my left ... whatever ... for that warbird ride.

No family here, so no presents received. But gave some, and made a great Christmas dinner for friends.

Fly safe - and keep the oily side down - at least when landing!
