The Sheep Detectives Movie

Ok a little bit different than car stuff but MrsJP and my daughter went to see this last night and genuinely enjoyed it. The premise is that the shepherd (Hugh jackman) gets murdered and the sheep have to solve the crime. (he reads them murder mysteries in the evening)

It is rated PG - because it talks about death, but, it has been a very long time since I have seen what I would consider a true family movie. It is funny, clever and thoughtful in equal measure - certainly something to take kids or grandkids to - and enough cleverness for adults (laugh out loud funny in some places.

Death used to be a normal part of life, and then we started acting like it is scary... Anyone remember Bambi, or The Neverending Story, or The Secret of Nimh?

It's good to see a family friendly movie every once in awhile. There aren't enough of them anymore.
