Funny.
I was in a restaurant where a mother and daughter were texting themselves at the same table!
 
SWMBO likes taking selfies of us, HWMO just smiles (if he only wants one pic taken!)
 
I wish more places would BAN selfie sticks. I get the idea, but I've been run into many times by tourists talking and walking while looking at them.
 
I don't mind taking family group pictures on special occasions. Like when the family all went out to diner for my 60th BD. But I take the pictures with a real camera and usually have some of the staff do it outside the joint AFTER we are done with our meals.

Got that right. A few years ago there was a "WW2 Flyover", with dozens of original WW2 American and British aircraft. The vets all watched the planes flying over. The young folks all watched the same planes on their "digital device" screens.
