The "proper" finish for a vintage Triumph

Yes --- Bugs!
I have been on the "county fair circuit" this week. I played at the Freeborn County Fair last Friday (213 miles, round-trip) and the Mower County Fair yesterday (210 miles, round trip).

As long as I don't need to transport any human passengers, the TR3 comfortably holds 2 guitars, 2 medium-small guitar amps and my bag of "crap" -- cords, guitar stands, etc. etc. and even more etc.

Friday, the threat of rain (realized at times) required the hood and side screens. Yesterday was PERFECT for open cockpit.

Blasting down the Mid-western super-slab at 70 MPH isn't exactly what I'd most prefer to do with the car but, for the most part, it's that or nothing around here. The car hummed along flawlessly, and I smiled a lot. Lots of gawkers when I drove onto the fairgrounds to get my gear up to the stage -- even a few requests for rides!

Down in Texas we get to enjoy 'Love Bug' season. And I don't mean the VW variety. Just don't forget, when you smile, keep your mouth closed!

Ah, yes - Love Bugs - one more "memory" from Louisiana/Texas! (Great picture, Randy!)

Mind you, we have our own "issues" in Tennessee!
