The Problem with buying a car in boxes

In Canada, (and I think the USA) Vauxhalls were sold by Pontiac/Buick dealers and were sold as Envoys by Chevrolet/Olds dealers.

So tonight I was working on the carbs and as such had the parts washer flowing. At the end of the evening, I grabbed a plastic battery cover that had been laying around waiting to be cleaned. Scrubbed and brushed, cleaned and cleaned, dried and as I was drying I got to wondering - what is that Chrysler Pentastar doing on a British GM part?

So, to date I have found this from whatever it was on, I have a Saturn thermostat, am X/19 throttle cable and a pair of big brake pads. Maybe I can make a true Bitsa when I am done.

I've been around a while and don't remember Vauxhalls or Envoys being sold in the US. Opals, yes.

Biggest problem with the "Brit-kit" I bought is that all those boxes are taking up all the extra room in my garage, and I don't have the free cash to get the stuff needed to put them all together......
