The Problem with buying a car in boxes

In Canada, (and I think the USA) Vauxhalls were sold by Pontiac/Buick dealers and were sold as Envoys by Chevrolet/Olds dealers.

So tonight I was working on the carbs and as such had the parts washer flowing. At the end of the evening, I grabbed a plastic battery cover that had been laying around waiting to be cleaned. Scrubbed and brushed, cleaned and cleaned, dried and as I was drying I got to wondering - what is that Chrysler Pentastar doing on a British GM part?

So, to date I have found this from whatever it was on, I have a Saturn thermostat, am X/19 throttle cable and a pair of big brake pads. Maybe I can make a true Bitsa when I am done.

Biggest problem with the "Brit-kit" I bought is that all those boxes are taking up all the extra room in my garage, and I don't have the free cash to get the stuff needed to put them all together......
Boxes, boxes everywhere.......

I've been around a while and don't remember Vauxhalls or Envoys being sold in the US. Opals, yes.

Most Vauxhall sales were in Canada (from 1948 to 1973), that's why you've likely never heard of them much down in the States, only a brief period of sales for about four years down there... More here in case you're curious - https://www.britishcarforum.com/files/james_tworow5.pdf
