Well, I did get the bonnet back together after many hours of trial and error fit of the distorted hinge mounting brackets.. then I removed and stripped the side aprons below the bonnet. That is all ready now waiting for the paint booth to get them in epoxy. So I turn attention to the grille. My car was without a grille when I got it and it remained that way for nearly 40 years as I tried every source I could find in search of a replacement. Finally, a friend found this one on a trip to New Zealand 20 some years ago. So for only $350 it has a grille, such as it is. A couple of the bars were broken near the center and I was able to patch them back with JB Weld on the back side. It could stand to be replated but I am afraid to let the platers polish it. I'm pretty sure it is stamped aluminum and it is thin. Meanwhile, I managed to remove the bullnose and will start trying to straighten it and that beat up bottom pan.
