I'm concerned chrome may be too much 'bling' and painted might get 'lost' with the car being greay. Several people suggested red wires, so I rattlecanned the spare wheel with a dark red like the interior. It's heinous.
An understated dove(ish) gray car with chrome wires can hardly be called bling.
Might be the sparkle it needs to truly shine.
I reckon you're safe either way ( the difference between silver painted vs chrome wires isn't all that great )and might be better off focusing on the battles that really count, like who gets to drive this classy motorcar,the Binabox. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
