the old thermostat again

Offline
im just here at the computer doing some historical research on the austin healey and came upon a story about the "black and white" healey (my austin healey.com) purchased in 1966 by richard seil, he and his new bride intended to drive the car from london to sydney , he wrote the donald healey motor company regarding the raising of the suspension on the bj8 he was informed that no other suspension parts were available to do so but he was advised to add a sump guard remove the existing tail pipe and silencer and replace it with a n/s door pipe, it was also recommended that he "obviously remove the thermostat", the letter is signed yours faithfully,g.r.l. price service director. donald healey motor co. hummm! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
