The Number Game - British Cars Only

Reservation request.... I am requesting #93. It's a lovely car that the owner painstakingly restored over a period of six years.

You can have it, but I think I want #95 (part of a plate I saw with my birth year - 1952 - cute little Austin Devon, I think, A40). :fat:

OK, it's a done deal!

A Riley...

88!! Here is my wife, Helen, standing next to a car she liked at the All British Field Meet (was it in 2005?).

I said she couldn't have it.

Good use of bailing wire and electrical tape. LOL

That Elva above is similar to the car our own Michael Oritt currently owns and races (his being much nicer).

And here's a weird one: the A.J. B. Special (also called the "Butterworth Special" after its builder, Archibald James Butterworth).
Built in the UK by an Irishman.
The car was used in F1 racing and had 4 wheel drive. It won several races in the late 40s / early 50s.

92. A rare 1935(?) MG-K with supercharger and all. Taken at the All British Field Meet last September. It had a few modern things added.

OK, Elliot, time to jump in.

Thanks Mark... here's my car #93

And a pure 93 that is! Oh wait, it looks like you've scribbled out the other numbers.
:joyous:
Nice looking Triumph.

#94...I love these Morgan three wheelers...of course, it should have a Matchless motor like this one.

Right you are... I obscured the other numbers since there are to many "crazies" on the net to put my full license plate number out there.
Next up your #95. Take it away Mark.....

Here we go... an Austin Somerset A40 from 1952 (as #95 - but my birth year). Lovely car.
I shot this photo at the All British Field Meet last September.

I've always been partial to that color combo...makes a killer shad lure. I had once thought about painting my Mk. IV those colors but it just didn't fit the car somehow.
