Today is the fiftieth anniversary of the plane crash that took the lives of Rock And Rolls best.
Boy, it doesn't seem that long ago to me.

I remember it well! I was in Rotterdam, as a 17-year old midshipman on the M.V. Ebani when we heard the news.
Very sad!

Just a quick side note;
Everyone remembers Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and J.P. Richardson
(The Big Bopper).
Roger Peterson was the pilot and was also a loved one for a family.
I hope he is missed as much as the others.
