Just saw it, quite good, in case you somehow missed it based on the true story of '76 F1 rivalry between Niki Lauda and James Hunt. I enjoyed the movie a lot, as did my wife, one of those that probably is worth seeing on the big screen for the racing scenes if nothing else.

Looking forward to seeing it!

Although they took some liberties, the big parts regarding the 76 season are true, I remember most of it, not the details, but the general story. I don't remember Hunt and Lauda being portrayed in the media as rivals (any more than they were with the other competitive drivers) but I do remember Hunt portrayed as a somewhat of a playboy, and very much a reckless driver who was pretty fast and had lots of accidents. They called him "Hunt the Shunt". Anyway the season and the characters are one of those deals that would almost seem to Hollywood like and contrived if you didn't know it was true.

I saw Rush on Sunday...I even "splurged" and got a "sensorround" seat. True, this movie will be in its best on the big screen. I really enjoyed it; it was erie how much the lead actors looked like Lauda and Hunt. I rank it right up there with 1966's Grand Prix..but enjoyed Grand Prix better.

Saw it two days ago. Liked it and so did Linda. I first saw Lauda at The Glen in the early 70s. Never saw Hunt in person, but he had quite the reputation and the film spends some time showing that. This may be my favourite "car" movie (most are pretty bad). A guy I know owns one of Hunt's original F1 Heskiths. He and I were talking about it last weekend. I bet the movie will increase its value!

saw it tonight, thought it was a little slow to begin( first 10 mins) but other than that enjoyed it thoroughly
