The mouse that died

Banjo said:
Oh yea, I had a bird get in that way too! Talk about realistic effect on the HO scale statue in the town square! He made a big mess down there!

Banjo- You can't have a train station without birds.... must make it very life like! I agree, get the mesh box. Just be careful installing it as the fall could spoil your whole day.

I feel (actually, smell) your pain, Basil. Our cat ocasionally nabs the errant mouse that comes in the house, sometimes she lets them get away and the wounded mouse moulders in a closet or crack somewhere. The resulting smell is surprisingly horrid.

Usually, once the odor starts we can trace it to the source of the dead mouse. It's awful and can ruin your day if you can't find the mouse.

I've instructed the cat to EAT the mice, but she's well-fed and won't comply.

Good luck, maybe your cat can help??? :cryin:

Sorry Basil and Mrs. Basil, we can't come over for breakfast this morning... We're cat training today.

Our cat, Buddy, loved Chipmonks. Larger than a mouse with larger area to create 'the smell'. Sometimes he ate half of them and left the remainder on the carpet.

Buddy now passed, and with his passing, no more problem.

My personal preference is chop sticks...

I wait until they go to sleep first.
Perfect for extracting them from tight places :yesnod:
