BT7 engine for my Tri-Carb Rally recreation.
.030” over bored, new pistons, had to sleeve two bores, new mains and rod shells, etc., etc.
Checked and triple checked.
Timing gear marks, check.
15 links mark to mark, check.
#1 piston at TDC, with valves “on the rock,” check.
Distributor drive at 10 past 8ish, check.
Head now on and torqued, will re-torque on the weekend.
Rocker shaft, etc. is next.
Then check valve timing for the final time and bend tabs on timing gear lock washers and timing cover on.
