That is the color that it came, its called Nason. Back from surgery now.

Nason is the generic brand name for Dupont, you can get any primer or paint made in the Nason name instead of the Dupont name for less money, here' the thing most folks don't know, it's the same exact product as Dupont, they don't have differnet tints and bases when they mix Nason paint over Dupont it's all the same thing, so why pay more for a name. The primers are pre-mxed at the factory, so most Dupont paint supply stores only sell the Nason name in the primers. I deal with a Dupont store on my paint and always convert to Nason. All the major brand name paints have a generic line, for example in RM, it's Limco.

Yeah, take it easy Kim, regards from us. The car is a great time passer, but healing is first.
Looking forward to seeing that yellow! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Boy, does that Nason fill. Covers up a lot of boo boos. Never seen anything like it. Is it even possible to get a run with that stuff? I kind of lucked upwith color, because that yelowish color will do well with my yellow basecoat.

Yep, the new primers make us part time body folks look like pros, it's good stuff. You'll like the base coat, clear coat as well, it so deep compared to single stage paints. You bought good supplies Kim and you get what you reap, so you should be fine and dandy.

Kim are you a member of the WNC British car club? A few of us from Foothills British car club were going up to BCCWNC event today, but the weather took a turn for the worse, so we all bailed, shame it sounded like it was going to be alot of of fun, dang this cold weather, I'm ready for spring.

Kim, do you know an Ed at shop@justbrits.com ? I received an email from him inquiring about your surgery (?)and was just wondering!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif I only mentioned the limited basic knowledge I have :G!

No, I am not a member of the WNC British car club. I was asked to join once, but with not having a drivable car, I opted out. I told them I would consider it when I had wheels rolling. I been 7 year off and on working on this midget, but have made a priority now. I want to go to a British car show sometime to see what its like. I would like to go down and see your shop sometime Hap, but I get lost in Greenville. I only know how to get to the racetrack via white horse road.
