The joys of a Rubber Bumper B...

...The heater control knob is a bit difficult for me to turn with my left hand at times.

Such a minor thing, considering WHAT'S HEAT in an MGB! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

JFC makes a good point about corvette owners......over on corvetteforum.com their is always a debate about CB vs. RB....We got the best of both worlds a 1973(urethane in the front, chrome in the back)!
On another note I've found the heat in the MGB pretty good...once the motor warms up.

Hiya,

I've only ever owned this 1975 RB,...

I must admit,...I love my big, black rubber bumpers.

Having just spent 500-gajillion dollars on bodywork, and still in the process of paying for and installing new mechanicals,....it's nice to know that there's something with a bit of substance between me and the car in front/in back of me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have grown to love the way the black bumpers work (visually) with the top and tires.

There,..I've said it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I bought a 76 Midget five years ago and an 80 MGB Limited last summer. The easiest thing to restore on my two cars were the rubber bumpers...and they look like new. Lots of compliments, especially the little kids in the beighborhood. By the way, my license tags are rather interesting because they mean something both seperately and when they're sitting together. (76 Midget:smile: BKRTEE (80 MGB:smile: END D MGS. These cars always were and always will be FUN!

R6MGS,
I've got the best of both worlds too. I have a chrome bumper MG and urethane ('78) Vette! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
