The Jaguar that Jaguar said it would never build..is being built!

When Jaguar announced the new X type...they said they were not going to build a front drive version...Not sporting enough..

Now they are building a front drive 2.1 liter v6 for a low cost entry..

Why? Are sales off on this supposedly hot model..?

The lease rates on this new Jag are no where near competitive with others in this segment..

How long will it take for the lease rates equal those of its competitors?

When I went to negotiate the deal on my "other" car

I was able to get the deal for considerably less than sticker. But when I went to our local Jag dealer to look at X types, they were very firm that if I wanted one, I would pay sticker. Is this a national phenominon, or just my local dealer. Can deals be had anywhere on the X-Type as they can on those "other" cars

I have heard that they will be at sticker for the time that the car is considered "new" and "hot", but that as soon as demand slows, they will start discounting. Look for the deals on the X-Type to come around April or May.

JBsC5;
Look at the bright side.. the "X" type isn't really a Jaguar and Jaguar isn't really building it.. Remember..
It's A Ford!
