Not too long ago I received an email from Basil mentioning I had not been on the Forum for quite some time. Well, that's true, I haven't; life kinda got in the way. My wife's MS continues to worsen as she ages. When she was younger she could more successfully maneuver around the symptoms, not so much anymore. I spend a great deal of time being a caretaker. Like Basil we have redone the bathroom, we had to make an addition to accommodate an ADA shower. We still have my TR4 of 56 years, it doesn't get driven as often as it used to because she can't get in or out of it without a great deal of difficulty and a certain amount of risk of injury to both of us. We needed something so we could continue to "arrive" when we went out (the Hyundai doesn't do it for us) so I bought a 1954 Bentley with an aluminum body by Hooper. She loves it, there is room in the boot for our folding powered wheelchair or a folding conventional style, the seat is at a height she can deal with. So, we are still getting out and about a bit. She is perfecting the Queens wave wearing her Miss Daisy hat. Me? I'm the chauffeur & chief mechanic.
