The Bugeye Sprite some of us will be restoring for a retired priest is on it's way being shuttled from California to New Jersey by a host of volunteers.
It will be picking up bits and pieces that it needs along the way and many others have donated parts and or money towards the cause.
I should see the Sprite by next weekend if all goes well.
It is on a donated trailer so the people moving it along just have to unhitch the trailer and hook it up to the next tow vehicle. Take a picture and write down a few words about their part of the journey.
Once some pictures get posted, I will post the link here.

This is a cool and heartwarming story! If the car passes through the Chicago area, let me know and I will contact the TV stations. Make a nice human interest story for a change. :smile:
 
Last I heard it will be going through the St Louis./Indy/Columbus area.

I hope that the Asbury Park Press and/or the Star Ledger (or other newspapers) will cover it.

I know this is not why you're doing it, but hope that someone eventually tips off some of the NJ newspapers.

Glad it worked out.

I sent a PM, but never heard back. Had the whole week off with nothing to do, so I ended up painting the bedroom! :frown:

We should go back (whoever has the power to do so) & combine all the Holy Sprite threads into one continuing thread so we have everything in one place.
 
I will Tony, but at the moment I am including inputs as they are available as well as that is the draft of the story.
