Funny what people make into a big deal.
Willie has always been one of my favorites. I like listening to his voice. and I like how he plays guitar. Never much cared how long his hair was.
Still a funny story.
 
I presume the url pointed to something like this - what's under the hair is a little nicer to look at than Willie Nelson too

It's funny-I've been re-reading Kinky Friedman's mystery novels, and one of them (<span style="font-style: italic">Roadkill</span>) centers around the Kinkster's attempts to help his good friend Willie Nelson* remove an Indian curse that's been placed on him. One of the plot points turns on Kinky's finding Willie's famous braid, in a box.

*Wille and the Kinkster are friends in real life.
