This morning, my wife and I hopped into our MGC and set off on our way to Malibu for an annual all-British run we put on. I needed fuel, so I pulled into a petrol station near our house.
In the next lane filling up was a beautiful 60's Mustang GT 350. A few seconds later I heard a great buzzing sound, and looking back I saw a pair of awesome Minis pull into the station right behind me. A moment later I heard a huge growl, and assumed it was another muscle car. Turned around, and nope... it was a Sunbeam Tiger! I assumed (and was correct) that the three Brit cars were headed to the same event as we were.
None of us knew each other, but we took that Chevron station back 40 years, if only for a moment. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
