The Great Race is coming through our little corner of NM tomorrow and stopping for lunch in Carrizozo, 20 min away, I will get some photos, I think there will be some intersting cars, taking the AH 100/8 to greet them!!

Plan to spend lots of time there while they rest...you'll get to meet & talk with some neat people & see some great cars!
 
There was a group of us who welcomed them in Albuquerque. Several Healeys and vintage cars. However, shame on our city for not giving them a proper welcome. The city father's and the press were notified - didn't care as not considered a 'money maker.'

Those who were there had a great time and I am sure will remember the event well. In spite of a grueling 350+ mile drive in not too kindly weather, the drivers/navigators were very cordial to us. Speaks well for them.
