The Future of our British Car Hobby

While in Berlin I used several taxis all of which were Prius. Thought at the time that they were a great idea for city driving. Best of both worlds with no battery range worries.

Maybe that principal would work for the rural Mail carriers.
Saw an article somewhere about some trash trucks being retrofitted with the same setup. Smaller gas/diesel motor and battery pack. No revving up necessary to compact the trash.

The Toyota and Diesela fill the DD roles here. Works out fine.

I just felt uneasy driving a friend's Prius - like I didn't belong in it. This was an early one. For a 2nd car, I would definitely consider an electric but the prices are too high yet.

I drive a Toyota RAV4 as my daily. I would consider switching to a Chevy Volt (I prefer the series to the parallel system) but I need to keep a station wagon for the space to stow my son's wheelchair.
