The First Vixen 2500

Good memory, Ian. Yes, it went to out of the woodwork show in NJ.
The car lived in NJ for a few years before being moved to Fl with its keeper.
 
Great looking car and with the FI engine version I bet it moved out pretty well. Have to wonder why they didn't offer that option for exporting to countries whose laws allowed it. Perhaps they were just mostly concerned with the US as their best market? A friend owned a UK spec TR6 here in Canada and it was a world of difference from the carbbed version!
 
Gerry and Martin went to triumph to collect a motor/trans for the car and all the had where PI units. All of the carb versions were allocated to TR6 for the states.
The car is very quick.
