The "correct" way to fold the top down?

Im not sure if there is rules on how many posts you can put on here per week but I cant help to ask all of you when questions come up every other day. This forum is great!
I have a 78 midget and was never shown how to put the top down and I was looking for information on that due to my current top needing replaced yet the monies wont be there for a while so I need to baby it. Its the standard vinyl top with the plastic window in the back and a small window in each rear corner. I have a small 2 inch cut behind the drivers side area where there is hook and loop (velcro) holding it. I wanted to take this top off at some point and patch this. More important is folding it the right way upon putting the top down so I dont create any damage or issues.

I admire you to be able to put it UP!! Both of mine took two men and a gorilla so I gave myself a storage compartment by taking them off.....my husband has to do what I say....he just shakes his head-LOL no rain if you go fast enough!!
