TR2/3/3A The concept of too many

I did not want to, but I had to buy two more Tr3's this week. Long story but the 62 is an un-wrecked, nearly
rust free car that the former owner had stripped to the frame, restored the frame, and started back together.
The other car is a basket case, but has OD and lots of extra parts to make the deal too good.
My wife thinks that 5 Tr3's may indicate that I am a hoarder. I do plan on selling off my 59 next spring, so
I dont know why she got so worked up.

When collecting sports cars, tractors etc... it is import to #1 Always name them not number them. If you say "Honey, this is Alice or Debbie" it isn't as damning as saying this is Tr3 #5. #2 Never park them where she can see all of them at one time.

I have two MGs (and am supervising restoration of a third). They are small. I can easily park two in half of a 24 x 24 foot garage. But if I had the whole garage at my disposal I could get six in there.

The real trick is to get my dear wife to help me clean it out and organize all the bits.
She was then a little shocked to find out that there were several more boxes of bits
to be gone through not yet here.....she is a trooper!!

If I may… “Alice” or “Deb” might cause more trouble than soothe much. Going for male names would… well… at best over complicate a relationship, so forget those… Personally, I’d probably go for historic female characters like “Marie Antoinette” or “Mom Theresa.” These might wash. Or, at least, distract for a useful while…

Its easier to just say " the blue 63' or the red 59 " as the case may be. If I name them, she will know
I am nuts.
Finally got all the boxes sorted from the blue 62. some interesting NOS bits thrown into boxes for the mice
to enjoy. They liked the carpet set a lot ! Oh well it was not of the best quality at least....
