The book and the PBS documentary (The Boys of ’36) are excellent! Has anyone seen the the movie? I have a fear of being disappointed as I spent a lot of time in an 8 at UC Davis. I have been disappointed in “Hollywood” sports movies that never live up to reality and the hype! Looking forward o your reviews!

I'm also looking forward to seeing the movie. We'll have to watch it on our big-screen TV, maybe Netflix will have it $$$
 
I will say I have not seen it, but I have run across a couple reviews that say it is kind of slow and doesn't really stir up much passion. True or not, guess you'll have to see and decide for yourselves.
 
Looking forward to the movie. Will it be as good as the book? No. But I’ll enjoy it nonetheless.
