"special valve for reducing finger fatigue"
Yea, it's like the new "spill free" gas can spouts that I always make a huge mess with. I never used to spill with the old normal spout.
Reducing fatigue!? how much are they expecting people to paint with these cans? maybe you need to post another update in the "humor" forum under the "how you know your car is a junker"

1. That's less of a tech tip and more of a grooming tip.

2. Primer in lieu of foundation is inferior, but primer-surfacer makes a great base for suceeding coats of makeup. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

And good morning, I would like 32 rattle cans of Old English White please. Yep. I have this MG to paint.

Just point it towards the car, not you!

Just be SURE to get 'em ALL from the same lot # !!!

it can't be worse than being in a room filled with CS gas without a gas mask for 5 minutes..... can it?

Aww, man! All we got to do was sit in a stoopid altitude chamber and go hypoxic! You guys got to do all th' NIFTY stuff...

Did it involve Atropine??? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Yeah, that's about the way of it... "WHEEEE!!!" <THUD>

nope! no attrophine... but I did get a gas mask filled with snot at the end... seems I couldn't hold my breath that long and ~had~ to inhale a small amount of it just before we were told to don the masks... I'll tell ya, I've ~never~ belched, snotted, and coughed so much nor all at the same time in such a short time frame since... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

hehehehe....way back when, I ran a gas chamber - built up quite a tolerance...but Jerri always made me take my uniform off in the garage when I got home after a day in it...said she could smell the gas on me!

And that was the gas from the chamber, whoooeeee. Hehe

It depends on the amount of CS, but different people react to it differently. I went through the chamber a few times and while it was unpleasant, it just made my eyes burn a bit and made them water. Other people were knocked for a loop...that's fun to see.

That being said, I was using Easy-Off on my Briggs and Stratton project to remove carbon and paint...works great...now here's what not to do- with the easy off still on the piece, I wouldn't take it to a sink and spray it down with hot, steamy water while your face is directly overhead. CS wasn't as unpleasant....but the block looks great!

[edit] speaking of things not to do with East-Off (or "Aircraft Remover") don't let the stuff stay on your skin for more than a couple of minutes...better not at all. Who says? The second degree chemical burns on my knuckles say, that's who.
