the "beatles" and cerk de sole

Offline
on t.v. last night cought about 75% of the show on how cerk de sole designed a performance around "beatle" tunes, very interesting, anyone else ever seen this?

I've seen Cirque de soleil here in Connecticut as well as in Zurich. They are *top notch* - absolutely fantastic.

What did they do with Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds?

My wife got us tickets to see them here on Feb. 22.

It's a fantastic show, I'm told by the wee woman. Many of the performers are gymnasts, etc., recruited for their athleticism.

And, some of them girls wear mighty tight breeches! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I've been to two different shows. The first one (Saltembanco), my jaw was in my lap the entire show. The things they did were just incredible. The next year was a huge letdown.

I have the Beatles' "Love" DVD which is the soundtrack for the Cirque du Soleil show. It is a total remix of the Beatles' old songs that sounds new and fresh!

The remix was done by the original producer, George Martin, and his son, Giles. George, Paul and Ringo added their suggestions and blessings to the new mixes.

The original idea came from George Harrison and his friend Guy Laliberte, the founder of Cirque du Soleil. Work started on the music and show in 2003.

It is a Beatles Fan "must have" IMHO.
