The winner of the $25 1991 Jaguar Sovereign will be drawn tonight at the British Car Club of Charleston's dinner. On behalf of the BCCC and the students at the Garrett Academy autobody class I want to thank all of you who bought tickets for the raffle. The folks at the BCF really stepped up to the plate and supported this cause.

I will post the winner this evening and put some pics of the event up tomorrow.

Again, many thanks to all of ya'll for supporting this great cause. The club thinks I'm some kind of super-sales guy for selling so many tickets but ya'll were my ace in the hole and I appreciate it.

Thanks,

Wray

I really don't expect to win, but if I do I'm making sure the school benefits. Wray, you guys deserve a lot of kudos for doing this. Those kids will never forget it, I'm sure.

It was a GREAT show Wray! The awards dinner was superb! My compliments to all who helped make it a success. We had a wonderful time! Loved the location. And, the location you picked for the dinner was fantastic! P & S.

Thanks Paul. The location was Diane's idea and it was great, I agree. Dinner on the fantail of an aircraft carrier looking over Charleston harbor on a nice night, it would be hard to find a better place.

And as usual, your 72 was just gorgeous, the new top looks great. That is one nice B.

Thanks for coming down, we always enjoy seeing you and Sandy.

Anybody know the winning #? Never mind, I just saw it in another post. That was great fun, waiting for a chance to win the Jag for only 25.00. Let us know if you are doing it again next year!

Basil, the winner was Don Hicks of Greenville, I don't know if he is a BCF member. He is a friend of Jack Lindler in Greenville.

The winning ticket number was 959725.

I intend ro post some good pics of the Jag and the class shortly.

Thanks to all of you.

Wray

If the winner had been out of state would the $25 have included delivery?

Well, if he's not a member, get him over here!

Absolutely, we were going to deliver it anywhere in North America for free as long as it was out of state. But, since the winner is in state, he has to come get it.

Or, we would have flown the winner here first class from anywhere in North America as long as he was from out of state.

You should have bought some tickets....

Tell him I'll double his price sight unseen...hehehe...heck, might even quadruple it to $100!
