I've been on the boards here since October when I bought the B. I thought it was past time that I take a minute to say a special thank you to everyone here. For making me feel welcome -- and more importantly -- NOT making me feel like a stoopeed woomun when it comes to cars!

I've asked stupid questions, somewhat understandable questions and I've ranted and babbled on and on these past months and you've all put up with me. You've given support & understanding, offered advice & and information, and above all, answered my questions patiently and clearly.

So. I just wanted to take a sec and thank everyone. You're all great! ((and don't worry, I'll have plenty more stupid questions in the future, I'm not letting ya'll off the hook just yet!))

Nice to have a place where you can feel free to ask the most basic questions and not get shot down in flames for doing so. Just purchased my 77 B in early January and the help I've received has been outstanding. Thanks for putting up with us newbies.

I received the same courtesy and respect when I was a newbie, which prompted me to stay. Unlike a lot of forum owners our Basil always replies to your e-mails, and always tells you the truth. That courtesy and respect for others comes from the top down on the BCF. All I can say is that Major Basil Fawlty must have been one heck of a commanding officer!

There is no such thing as a stupid question, except the one you don't ask. British cars very often defy logic...any question is legit!

I've asked some pretty dumb questions. Like my first one about the black drippy stuff on my shoe! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif And yea, everyone's a newbie at some point, but I do love the people here. Good, good people on this board.

Ditto, I've been on here for just a month and I'd also like to thank everyone for their invaluable help. This forum is a great place for us LBC lovers to get together.

As I slowly tear into my MGB project I know that I'll have alot of dumb questions in the future. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
