Thank you for allowing me to join this forum.

I'm located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (USA) and joined because I am currently considering the purchase of a 1967(we think) Austin FX4 London Cab. There are two reasons for this: 1) I seem to have an affinity for the old style British cabs and 2) I think it would make a good addition to my nano-brewery (soon to be brewpub).

The problem I'm having is finding reliable technical info to confirm the condition of this vehicle. Mechanically, I can figure most things out as I grew up rebuilding farm equipment. There just seems to be some conflicts as to what I am seeing v original equipment.

Hi Mike - just posted some help for you in the Other British Cars forum.

Hello Mike

Welcome to the forum

I am sure you will get plenty of help for your London Cab.. Those things would run forever.

What kind of beer will you be brewing?
The Pub is an area where almost anything comes up for discussion.

Mike- welcome to the British Car Forum. The Austin sounds like a nice project. I’m in Lancaster so let me know when your pub is open.
