The girls and I want to thank all of you for the incredible support you gave us after introducing ourselves. Colin sent us a seat rail and a sump screen, Michael sent us a jack, and Jack sent us a pair of 1 1/8" air cleaners & a sump (giving us 2 if anyone else needs one) all these were donations. Incredible! We have updated our site with a thank-you page, a few new photos, and a wish list page. Drop by and leave them a comment.

New (replacement) lucite sliding window panels for our frames

Was on you want list, Use sheet Lexon and cut em your self, use felt from cloth store in slides. Trim felt after you install lexon.

For the "new" items... you might try ask a vendor if they can supply one "at or below cost" in exchange for link and recognition. Heck, this would make a good story for Moss's British Motoring magazine. Contact rgoldman@mossmotors.com he is a spridget person and very approachable.

"you might try ask a vendor if they can supply one "at or below cost" in exchange for link and recognition.'

When we started this project, I wrote (and then later phoned) Moss & BC. No reply to either letter, and no interest on the phone. Not even just a discount for a non-profit school. They probably get asked too often. The only company that stepped forward (to a request) was PPG paint, who were great. John at Sports & Classics usually give us a break off Moss prices, I haven't really tried after that. Just posting a list of what we needed, and were willing to pay for, has produced some very generous people. Its funny, perhaps because I see how terrific (and photogenic) these kids are, it seems like a company like Moss, or even Snap-on could get a lot of mileage from a fairly insignificant (and deductible) participation. I must admit I was a little surprised to not even get an answer. But you all are the heroes of the project, if fact it meant more to them coming from people who really had no business gains in helping them..

But you do understand we are now part of it. We have helped save another Bugeye.

Hmmm...It is hard to say what the criteria for a company's generosity might be. However, there are alot of these projects that never see completion. Now that the product is near completion you may get a better response. Email Robert. I strongly suspect he'll respond. Now that you have a project near completion you may get some support. If you can get them onboard with this project, then they will be more likely to support your next project. This could be good PR for many companies.

The furry side of VELCRO works also and---comes in colors and won't break down when it gets wet.

Oh, good idea Steve, had not thought of that.

Trevor, I bow at your feet. Robert sent an immediate reply, and Kelvin, their
British Marketing Manager, followed within two hours. We spoke on the phone at some length, and they are firmly on board. Thank you so much.

I like the idea of being able to donate parts via the Moss website, but I hope they throw a little $$$ your way, or at least some good PR.

I haven't had much to offer in light of differing car models, but this is great news and I am chuffed for your team and your car, I was just about to order my carpet kit from VB, ahh, I'll give moss a call instead.
