I have recently acquired a 1968 Mini and have been doing a lot of research. I have posted on the Mini site here but there is not much action. I think I had the last post months ago. So I went to another forum to ask questions. Very rude people who not only were opinionated but wrong in many cases according to the Mini books. I just wanted to thank you all for being nice and helpful. Basil has done a great job with the restrictions and moderators to make this a learning board.

So, Jerry... what're your problems/issues?!? Doug Lawson is an EXCELLENT helper here. Mebbe we should all gang up an' watch the Mini forum to help answer any of your questions?

This place is the go-to forum if you need answers, it's just that covering the spectrum of various LBC offerings is time consuming for many.
 
I was lucky enough the my Sprite's P.O. turned me onto this site. Even when I've done some completely knuckleheaded things to the Sprite, there's no insults or harsh judgments, and usually it's "Yup, we did that once, too. Now that you know what you did wrong, try again to get it right...and if you have trouble, ask us again".
 
I don't know where I (or my lbc's) would be without this site. And, even though I've never met them, I feel like I've found some like souls here :smile:
 
Doug has helped me with questions but the other site had more answers I could pull up and review. So I spent some time there. But not as nice as here. Doug is a patient guy with a newbie to Minis.

Iv found myself googling questions and getting answers faster then posting here on occasion. However this is an encouraging community unlike any other i have found. Or a great support group with an addiction unlike any other. most likely both. If i knew anything about minis id try to help. Better leave it to some one who has at least read a book about them.
