It appears we're just a BUNCH of well-read GEEKS with a penchant for English cars!... the demographic is somewhat skewed, in that we're the ones who're usin' internet to congregate, but that would fit th' profile too.

Wow. Artick-oooh-late motorheads. Who'd a thunk it! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Ummm... nah, better not!

doc, you watch out bout callin me a "geek" i hate it when my wife does it! but just to break down the "demographic" we have lots of guys from all over the world that also dig trains, planes, and automobiles, wood carving, picture taking etc, i dont think we can nail it down if so id be driven a ferrai according to my heritage, and no were not the only ones using the internet to co-mingle with our like minded brothers, i think if anyone could pin me down as being a typical example of anything i wouldnt want to be on this planet! skuze me i need a little more coke in my rum. jaybird help me girl-help me!

alana, dont start wit me! i know way yo lives! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif - fiat? nah maybe alfa! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I read the back of my tooth paste tube when I'm in the John, and I work on cars, does that count?

As much as anything else.... And Ant'ny!!!!
Wot's so *WRONG* wid Alfa Romeos?!?! MY Roman heritage don't dictate my choices, I just LIKE the bloody things. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

...after all, el Commenditore DID drive 'em before he went all *independent* on us. And mos' likely iff'n ya chose to drive a Ferrutzi th' rest of us wouldn't hold it again' ya.

I have thoroughly anglo-saxon roots, with a touch of the Celtic thrown in, but I like Little Italian Cars as well. Mind you, for that matter I also have a thing for Citroens and Saabs.....

if your going to go that way then i'll paraphrase a movie - i like anything fast enough to do something stupid in...

Let's see - last books read:

Cortina MKII Service Manual

Datsun B210 Service Manual

Cortina MKIII Service Manual

Triumph TR6 Service Manual

Dodge Dakota Service Manual

I don't think these are considered works of
literature.

Man,I need to get a life!

Doug,

He means your post caused him to spew, whichever liquid (Coffee or Beer) that he had in his mouth at the time, all over his formerly dry and working keyboard.

He seems to go through them (keyboards) on a regular basis. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

I never doubted that when I first joined the forum, maybe notsomuch the 'Geeks' bit, but the well-read, articulate and all worthy of respect.

Hey! Just watch who yer callin' "articulate", huh?!

We'd hate for that to get around. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

And I didn't mean "geek" in the most recent 'computer' sense. More the "old" style... bookish, eschews a game of football for a chess match kinda "geeky".

Ummm... nevermind.....

...this trench I'm in seems to be gettin' deeper.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif
