I am about to start assembling a 1250TF which is missing seats, among other items.
I have no chance of finding origionals so am wondering if anyone can direct me to some other seats which will fit and still look OK

Or presumably anything of the genral vingtage MGA/ Sprite/ early TR etc etc
 
A friend has a set of Recardos in his, a little fancy but they fit nice. They don't look like the originals at all though. Not my cup of tea, but he's happy. He gets a tad more legroom and sets a little lower. PJ
 
I don't think you probably want a completely new set of TF seats @ $4300! a pair (Moss price). I would look for a pair of used TF seats and if needed, reupholster them in your colors. They pop up occasionally. PJ
 
Thank you everyone for your kind suggestions. As it turns out i have a pair of seats left over from my TR6 reno and with a bit of modification to the frame sides they look like they are going to fit.
