T-Series TF Parking Brake Disassembly Advice Needed

In disassembling the parking brake on my TF so that I can send it out for chrome, I am stumped on how to best remove the "rivet", or as Abington Spares calls it, the "fulcrum pin" that the parking brake shaft/handle uses to pivot up and down. Is it just the simple case that I need to drill it out and get a new rivet, or am I missing something?

Many thanks.

Grind one end off the pin. New pins are available from Moss. 181-440, $19.95. PJ
