Starting to look like a car again, and a dern fine looking one at that.

Thanks Drew, I have some chroming I have to get done and have been putting it off until the car was painted. The Painter had a problem on the hood/bonnet due to a fault in the primer he used. He called the manufacture and I think that was taken care of. He completely stripped the hood and started over from bare metal. The fenders might be painted by now, at least I'm hopeful. PJ

I love TFs and yours is just beautiful!

Thanks Rut! :encouragement: PJ

Started wiring the old girl up, not my favorite job, but coming along slowly.
Just picked up most of the red stuff today from the paint shop. Three pieces still there need buffing yet, The fuel tank side panels and the tool box lid. Here's a few photos which gives agood idea how the paint is looking. PJ

Hood,

Rear splash apron,

Fuel tank,

Dash,

Pic of the some of the wiring mess.

Lots of other bits, but don't want to over do it. Lots of reflections inside the trailer. PJ

Pretty!

Looks like you'll be driving by summertime. Nice.

Oh man that looks good. I cant wait to see the black fenders against it.

As it is now. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Some buffing compound still in the groves, but an easy fix. Miles to go though, lots of work left. Kinda cramped in the garage after moving the car from the shop. But it's much warmer here! :encouragement: Fenders are in the paint booth and being painted now. PJ

That is absolutely beautiful! One of these days I'll be at that stage.

Great, Paul - and the welcome mat's a nice touch!

Boy that's looking nice.

Looks amazing! (and without the fenders, you can really see the appeal of hot rodding them - from back in the day)

Yeah they look real mean all open wheeled like that.

That's gonna be a stunning example!

You guys said keep you up to date, so here are a few more pics.

Amazing how the light changes the look of this paint.

That...is...just...incredibly...beautiful!
