About 3 years ago I passed up the opportunity to by left over body kit and frame for the TF replica, utilizing all MGB components. I am still searching but cannot find them anymore. Does anyone know if any exist, or is there a site for the TF replicas. Dennisp

I actually foung the man who started to company and could have bought the kit from him, about three years ago. Later, on this forum, some people were talking about buying the business and restarting it. Any ideas what happened?

I hadn't heard of anyone trying to restart it. Personally I hate when kit cars wear an MG badge so I wouldn't have been following such a venture with any interest.

I saw one on E-Bay about 6-8 months ago and have been intrigued since they were originally in operation.
A TF was used for the body molds, and it was a proprietary frame to which all the running gear from a B was installed, thus keeping it all MG. It was lighter, faster, and stronger than the TF, just not original and less expensive.
I believe it started out as the Great Lakes Motor Car Company, but at some point it went to the Victo TF 1800. Someone on E-Bay is selling one of the original sales brochures.

This car started out in upstate New York, used all B components but later added a V8 powered edition. Still seeking a kit.
