Jean and I will be there. A nice, leisurly 1,100 or so mile ride. I know you need the rain but keep it away for a few days. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi Bob,

We were sure that you'd be down. We'll try to hold off the rain. Maybe the lack of precipitation will increase the participation.

It looks like rain outside now and I just heard the weather chick make the most assinine statement...

"We don't expect any change in weather to hit the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, but if it does, it could be severe."

HUH ? ? ?

Tim

We will be there for the first time.
just a 150 mile drive for us, but our 100-6 is not restored yet. So we hope we'll make it there on time.
looking forward to it

You will have a great time. The Texas clubs put on a great show every year.

Bob McElwee is right. He and Jean always attend from St. Louis.

For those of you who don't know about the Texas Healey Round Up, for the past 25 years the 3 AH clubs of Texas (Dallas Ft. Worth's North Texas, San Antonio's South Texas, and Houston's Gulf Coast) have rotated hosting a 3 day weekend of fun Healey car events and socializing.

We usually have about 100 cars and over 200 people including regulars who attend from as far away as both coasts and Canada.

This year should be no exception. Kerrville is a beautiful town, located an hour northwest of San Antonio and a half hour from Fredricksburg, one of the most scenic arts & crafts and historical places in Texas.

To get a glimpse of past years Round Ups (back to 1999), please visit the Past Events section of the North Texas AHC web site at: https://www.ntahc.org/pastevents/PastEvents1.htm

Morris, you might as well let the parts sit there for another couple of days (you KNOW that you won't get anything done anyway) and drive the 2 hours to Kerrville, even if only for Saturday's Car Show, Rally, and Auto-Cross. Heck, there are always people driving the ralley who are looking for someone to ride with them.

sjoerd/miranda and tiga2, PLEASE look me up and let me know who you are. I will have green V8 car pictured below.

I hope that those of you within traveling distance will think about attending next year's Round Up if you can't make it this year.

Keep an eye on the "Upcoming Events" section of the North Texas AHC web site (https://www.ntahc.org) for details.

Tim,

already looking forward to it. Our car is the one in the picture. Also easy to recognise a strange dutch accent when we talk. We will take the car back to europe in about 6 weeks, so we are happy that we can still attend this event.
see you there,

sjoerd and miranda
